A TV-spoof of Kermit and Salesman Grover on Sesame Street.
- Kermit the Frog - Big Bird (Sesame Street)
- Grover - Gonzo (The Muppets)
- Telly Monster - Grover (Sesame Street)
|Earmuffs||Gonzo wants to sell Kermit some earmuffs, but Big Bird doesn't have ears, so Gonzo gives Big Bird some large and real human ears.|
|Toothbrush||Gonzo wants to sell Big Bird a toothbrush, but Big Bird doesn't have any teeth.|
|Sunglasses||Gonzo wants to sell Big Bird a pair of sunglasses, but Big Bird doesn't have ears to hold the sunglasses up with, so Gonzo gives Big Bird a pair of sunglasses with ears and an optional moustache attached under his front lip of his beak.|
|Hair Piece||When Gonzo comes to Big Bird's home dressed in salesman attire, Big Bird quickly tells Gonzo that he doesn't want anything, since Gonzo always tries to sell him things that he has no use for. However, Gonzo tells Big Bird that he's here to give him a hairpiece. After putting it on Big Bird's head, Big Bird decides that it doesn't look very good. Gonzo agrees, and offers to sell him a comb, a hair brush, some shampoo, and hair tonic.|
|Head Warmer||While Big Bird's at home typing his autobiography, salesmonster Grover comes to his doorstep and asks if Big Bird wants to buy a head warmer. Grover keeps worrying he's not doing a good job, and that Big Bird won't want one. But Big Bird reassures him that since he does have a head, he'll really have a use for a head warmer, unlike the things Gonzo sells (toothbrushes and earmuffs). When Grover puts the head warmer on Big Bird, it covers Big Bird's entire head. Grover remarks, "Big Bird! It is you!"|
